Facilities
EQUIPMENT
Bed linen and duvets are provided in all lodges (but not towels or tea towels except for overseas visitors). Cots and high chairs are available by request but please bring your own cot linen and blankets. Colour TVs and Videos are in all lodges (DVD player in Badger Lodge). We have a selection of videos for hire at nominal prices. All lodges have a selection of games and books.
Please note that TV/mobile phone reception is variable in this area.
TELEPHONE
All the lodges have telephones (for outgoing calls only) charged by meter reading. Intercom connected to owners' house and to other lodges.
ELECTRICITY
Storage heating and overnight heating of hot water is included in the price of your lodge. Daytime electricity is charged by meter reading at normal unit cost (no coins in the slot). (Chestnut Lodge and Acorns - gas and electricity are included in the price).
LAUNDRY
There is a washing machine and tumble drier available on site, operated by tokens, which can be purchased on request.
LEISURE FACILITIES
Visitors can, if they wish, have the use of an excellent nearby leisure centre with a full size swimming pool, child's pool, sauna, spa bath and steam room, as well as a well-equipped gym. This is only 1-½ miles away or a mile through the woods.
PETS
Well-behaved dogs and responsible owners are very welcome here (maximum 2 dogs per lodge).
